Under the theme Peace is Possible, the Geneva PeaceTalks invite you to reflect on the vital questions: “What does it take to choose hope over fear? To rebuild trust where it has broken? To believe, again, that peace can take root even in the most fractured places?”
Join Sarah Noble, Curator of PeaceTalks and Head of Global Engagement at Caux Initiatives of Change, together with speakers, including El Laskar and Miranda Shaw from Creators of Peace International. Through their lived experiences, they will remind us that peace is not only necessary, but within reach.
Registration is necessary if you wish to attend in person at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, or if you would like to receive a link to follow online.

From Bain de Paquis to the Place des Nations
We are honoured to be co-organisers of the Walk for Peace in Geneva on the International Day of Peace – Sunday, September 21, 2025.
This march carries special significance: It marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, a reminder of the enduring importance of the UN Charter, international law, and the Geneva Conventions. It is also the 44th International Day of Peace, which calls us to move beyond symbolic pauses in conflict and to foster a lasting culture of peace.
Programme
14:00 | Gathering at Bains des Pâquis, Quai Wilson, Geneva
Silent, slow march (no banners, no slogans, no flags) to the Place des Nations
15:30 | Collective silent sit-in & meditation, led by Heartfulness
Creativity space for children, hosted by the Grand Genève Peace Movement
We are grateful to welcome Alfonso Gomez, Mayor of Geneva, and Lidiya Grigoreva, Chief of Staff to the Director-General of UN Geneva, as special guests.
This event is open to everyone who wishes to walk together in silence for peace, non-violence, and a sustainable future.

Can AI save democracy—or sabotage it?
As part of the Geneva Democracy Week, join us for an Oxford-style debate where tech meets politics. Two teams, one motion: AI will save democracy. You vote, they argue.
Minds will be changed — or sharpened. Come challenge your perspective and witness ideas collide in a battle of wit and conviction.
This debate is co-organised by the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation, the Kofi Annan Foundation and the Geneva Centre Security Sector Governance (DCAF).
Please register to attend.
