Gaza Out of Fire: A Fragile Clearing in a Heavy Sky

The world has witnessed two tragedies: the October 7 attack and the brutal retaliation that followed. Families on both sides mourn their loved ones. Beyond politics, these are human lives — Palestinian and Israeli — yearning for peace.
True peace cannot be built on dominance. It must rest on justice, mutual recognition, and shared dignity. Extremist factions remain entrenched, and skepticism is warranted. Yet every ceasefire, however fragile, is a chance to rebuild, to dialogue, to believe again.
